Our goal is to give students accurate, useful and independent information about studying in Germany.
Sourcing
We compile university and program data from official sources — university websites, the German Rectors’ Conference (Hochschulkompass), the Accreditation Council (Akkreditierungsrat) and anabin, the Federal Foreign Office for visa guidance, the DAAD International Programmes database (the source of our programme records) and recognised ranking bodies such as QS. Key facts can carry citations.
Review & freshness
Records are reviewed regularly. Each university page shows when it was last updated, and we flag data that needs re-verification internally.
Independence
Commercial relationships (advertising, affiliates, lead generation) never influence the factual content, ordering methodology or which universities we include.
Careful language
We avoid guarantees such as “guaranteed admission” or “guaranteed visa”. We describe universities factually — “ranked highly by…”, “known for…”, “popular among…”.
