Germany’s national talent scholarship: €300 a month, half from the federal government and half from private sponsors, awarded directly by each participating university to high-achieving students of any nationality.

Awarded on academic performance plus social commitment and personal circumstances. You apply to your own university — every institution publishes its own application window, usually in the summer for the winter semester.
